NOVEMBER 2007:  The Camaro's finally got a new home for a while. Moved it into the new shop, got the GM rear carpet kit in as well as the front ACC carpet. Re-painted all the interior plastics black and installed. 5pt harness installed, A/C delete box being installed currently as well as rewiring the car AGAIN!!  I'm installing a shift light in the vents as well for a little more of a sleeper look.  The motor is coming back out as well, going to repaint the engine bay blue as well as clean up everything underneath the hood. Looking to install a Holley Stealth Ram MPFI kit, as well as investing in some shop equipment (air compressor, sand blaster/cabinet, powder coater, oven, etc).  Cant wait for the air compressor, then I can finally build my sandblasting cabinet and go to town on the whole car!!!

MAY 2008:  All is going according to plan.  I bought a new 60gal air compressor, built my sand blasting cabinet out of a 55 gal drum, bought a pressure and a siphon blaster, Eastwood's DIY powdercoating kit, and even a drop-in oven I bought for $20! I pulled the motor out and painted the engine bay Corvette Electron Blue.  Also got the HSR installed after polishing the plenum, powdercoating the base black with chrome inlay on the lettering.  PC'd the serpentine brackets, pulleys, fan box, sway bar brackets, transmission case, and anything else that's metal!  I also upgraded the brakes with front brakes from an '02 Camaro along with the master cylinder and brake booster from the same car.  I polished and powdercoated the calipers with a candy red that looks freakin awesome!  Coated the font control arms and installed new Prothane bushings and ball joints, Finally broke down and bought my engine management system, MegaSquirt.  Had to build it myself (it's shipped with motherboard and all the resistors, capacitors, etc. in little baggies; you have to assemble it!) It's awesome though. 2 stages of nitrous control, full fuel and spark control, rev limiter, can handle up to 22psi of boost, and wayyy to many other functions I cannot even begin to comprehend. All for under $350 with a labeled harness to wire it all up!  Right now I've got the gas tank pulled out so I can drop in the Walbro 255 HP fuel pump, and while the rear end was out I installed the T/A Performance rear end girdle.  I went ahead and bought some rebuild kits for the PBR calipers, the coated them the same candy red as the fronts. God, I cannot wait to get this thing on the road!
